Danielle Gardner Business Headshot

BEHIND THE SCENES

Thank you for visiting my website and also for considering me for your next project. I would like to take this opportunity to introduce myself. My name is Danielle (also known as Dannie by family and close friends) and I am the sole owner and designer for Designs By Dannie.

Designs By Dannie is a newly launched business that developed after re-igniting my passion design while designing my own website and marketing content for my real estate business. Building my website reminded me not only how much I enjoy web & graphic design, but also that I possess a natural ability to create beautiful and functional websites & high-quality marketing content.

In addition to web design and graphic design, interior design is also a huge passion of mine. I have always had an eye for design and enjoy taking a space and turning it into something beautiful and functional. A few inspiration pieces that allow me to understand my clients style is all I need to get inspired and the ideas begin to flow.

Although I’m primarily self-taught and my formal education isn’t extensive, my talent and natural ability speaks for itself. My main objective is to provide a service to other small businesses that they may not be able to afford otherwise during the development stages of their business. Please reach out if you have any questions or if you would like to request services. I look forward to the potential opportunity to work for you and help elevate your business!

PRESENCE ON SOCIAL MEDIA

Establishing a strong presence on social media is important in a world that is driven by technology and building up my presence online through social media is something I prioritize in my business. I utilize social media as one of my main marketing tools and use it frequently to post content, share highlights and also utilize paid advertising. My Instagram feed featured here is just an example of the type of content I share & create.

Building a professional website and designing high-quality marketing material for my clients allows them to present a professional image to the world. Upon written consent, I announce new website launches on both my Facebook and my Instagram pages and I also share a large amount of the marketing material I create on social media (with client consent), which is free advertising for my clients.  FAQs

  • The general pricing for all of the design services I offer are listed on the Pricing page on my website. General meaning the average, anticipated price. Each project is different so the level of complexity and costs incurred by me to complete the project will effect the final cost to complete the project. This is review in greater detail during the design consultation.

  • As a small business owner myself, my goal when launching this business was to provide a service that many new small businesses may not be able to afford otherwise in the beginning stages of their business development. In a world where most people turn to the internet to shop and seek services, I want to help other small businesses connect to those seeking their services at a fraction of the cost.

  • Yes, I do build eCommerce websites and can develop a cart/checkout feature into a website. The eCommerce feature isn’t offered in the Basic Website Package; however, that feature is included in the other packages I offer. See the Website Design and Business Branding pages to see the product limits for each package.

  • All of my websites are built using a website building platform such as SquareSpace, Shopify, Wix or Weebly. The platform I use is dependent on the clients need and budget as some are more expensive than others and some offer more advanced features that may be useful for some, but not others.

All of the websites I design are completely customized to cater to my client’s business and brand. I ensure the design and content are in line with my client’s business and brand and design a layout that is functional and easy to navigate.

  • The length of time it takes to complete a website depends on the complexity of the job. For a basic website that doesn’t include an eCommerce feature or a lot of heavily worded content, I could potentially complete a website in as little as two weeks. Websites that include a lot of written content and/or a large inventory of products will require a lot more time to complete.
